About Me
I grew up in the mountains; it’s where I feel at home. Spending my childhood in Albuquerque, NM, the Sandia mountains were at my doorstep. After graduating college, I worked as a builder and Realtor in Santa Fe while spending my free time hiking and skiing.
In 2007, we were drawn to the Appalachian mountains, so my artist wife and I put down roots in vibrant Asheville. Rich in culture and history, its diverse community has been a wonderful place to raise our daughter. When we’re not hiking, camping, biking, or walking up to the local farmers market or restaurant, we like to hang outside in our yard. I’ll be sitting on the front porch looking out at the mountains playing Blue Grass or Blues on my guitar, my wife will be working in the garden, while our daughter and dog chase each other.
Living in a 100 year old house, I appreciate historic homes like the Arts and Crafts bungalows so prevalent in this area, while I’m also excited about new energy-efficient construction that supports our global environment. Working in the building, mortgage and real-estate industries, I see the overall picture of the structures we call home.
